 On friday, Kano state government raised the alarm over community transmission of Covid-19 as the Virus spreads across seven local govt areas.
 The State Coordinator of Covid-19 Task force, Dr Tijjani Useni, who raised the alarm, told Journalist that most of  the 73 cases in the state had no travel history.
  ''The 73 cases was concentrated witin the metropolitan city, kano municipal has 15, Ugogo has 12, Nasarawa has 11, Tauroni has 12, Dala has 9, Guale had none, fagge has 3,  while kumbotso has two. Some Dont have history of travel out of this 73 cases and cannot remember who travelled came in contact with them.
 There is evidence of community transmission of Corona virus in Kano State,''he said.
 For the moment, On friday, the state government repatriated another batch of 155 to Kaduna state as part of its renewed effort to check the spread of Corona virus in the state.
 Alhaji Sanusi Kiru, the commissioner of education said, ''As i am talking to you now, we are on our way to Kaduna, where we will hand the over to the State Government for onward transpotation to their respective towns and villages.
  From Kaduna we are going to four other states, including Gombe, Yobe, Bauchi and Zamfara'', kiru said.
 Governor Abdullahi Ganduje had recently announced the deportation of almajiris as part of the steps taken to prevent the spread of corona virus.
